Site Information

Please be aware we are based at high schools and there may be students still at the school at these times. Please take care when driving into the building car park.

We operate at 3 Sites:

Radyr Comprehensive School

  • At the entrance of the school as you enter, turn right and follow past the sports hall on your left to the top car park.

  • The Pool is then located to the back right of the main reception area which is located next to the tennis courts.

  • Parents can use the gymnasium upstairs to wait for their children.  There is a Live View Camera (Non Recording) in place and parents can see poolside,

  • When lessons have concluded swimmers will be led into the changing rooms by staff. Swimmers over eight will enter their respective gender changing rooms. Under eights will enter the changing room relevant to the adult they are with e.g,  A 5-year-old girl who is with her dad will use the male changing room.

  • Please try your best to ensure your child is prepared and equipped for each lesson.

  • Correct swimwear and goggles. Possibly swim hats and water bottles for stages 7+.

  • lesson. - A teacher will guide them on where to sit on the poolside before starting their lesson.

  • Please have your children ready to start ‘beach ready at the front door on time.

  • Please Ensure Long Hair is tied back prior to lesson. to avoid entrapment. 

  • Please refrain from letting your child eat at least one hour before their lesson.

Fitzalan High School

The entrance to the school is located on Leckwith Road opposite the retail park.

​

As you enter the school grounds the pool is the brown building on your right-hand side.

​

If you continue past the pool you will see a small car park on the right at the back of the building which is for pool use.

​

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

YOU MUST ENTER YOUR VEHICLE REG NUMBER IN THE ENTRANCE OF THE POOL BUILDING ON THE PROVIDED IPAD.

Please note there is a large car park to your left as you enter the school grounds which is a Park and Display and will cost £1. THIS CAR PARK IS OPERATED BY THE ATHLETICS STADIUM not the pool so you will have to pay if you use this.

Howe2Swim will not be liable for any parking fines incurred for failing to follow parking procedures.

Howells School

134 Cardiff Road, CF5 2YD

As you enter Howells School. Continue over the small roundabout within the school grounds. You shall see the pool at the farthest right hand side. This Pool building is Orange in colour.

Please Park in the car spaces provided.
